I got a 2 hour deep tissue massage with Jorge— I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful the experience was!!!! Booking: I was having one of those days where I realized I needed a massage ASAP. I called the studio and Jorge accommodated me by adding me on as a same-day appointment. No back and forth, just welcoming, polite, and so friendly. Location: Right in Old City, his studio is so convenient to get to from anywhere in Center City! The studio is serene and inviting and I felt relaxed before the session even started. Experience: Jorge has such an intuitive sense of the body’s musculature! Not only that, he instantly found every knot and wouldn’t stop until they were totally undone. I left my session feeling like I was floating, and knowing how genuinely cared for I was. Jorge has a gift and is the best masseur I’ve found in Philadelphia after a decade of living here. Wow! I can only say this is one of the best therapeutic/deep tissue massages I have ever had in my life. Since the loss of my right arm in a traumatic work-related accident, I am not new to the massage circle and their techniques. I have a problem with muscle tightness from the base of skull to my toes. I like my massages very deep, where it is a workout for both parties. Jorge has magic hands that are both strong yet tender. Jorge has personality and is so professional. He is so in tone with what your body needs and the biofeedback is remarkable and second to none. As a medical professional who works with cancer patients and as a person with a disability, I wish I had two hands to give Jorge two thumbs up. Meeting Jorge this evening makes me happy that my alignment and muscular difficulties are only temporary because this only means I get to make many more follow up appointments.
